MM-30S A-Style Mandolin -Antique Sunburst

In the Tradition of the House of Stathopoulo

Epiphone began as a family-owned mandolin manufacturing shop, and the MM-30S deluxe style mandolin carries on that legacy. It is a classic A-style mandolin inspired by founder Epi Stathopoulo's vintage instruments. Featuring a solid spruce top with dual f-holes, mahogany body, raised pickguard with E logo, and gold hardware.

When Lee opened the box, it was really well in tune straight away.

That means 2 things: Firstly, Epiphone are still prepping each instrument in Sydney before they ship them to us in Perth and secondly, the quality of the instument is clearly very good, as it does not take much to put an 8 string mandolin out of tune.

I just went and tried it out then and it still sounded great a few days later, so I am pleased with that.
