with the same sound aesthetics as its bigger siblings
POLAR 10 and POLAR 12, yet extremely compact and
easy to use, POLAR 8 is the perfect solution for small
stages, in the rehearsal room, in cafés and at garden
parties.
Compared to other models in its class, POLAR 8 stands
out with its impressive sound experience and its
comprehensive range of features, including a three-
channel mixer and Bluetooth 5 audio streaming. Two

BIG SOUND
The high-quality speaker components deliver exceptionally transparent, natural sound from the
deepest lows to the finest highs. Six 2.5" high-performance neodymium speakers in a curved
column arrangement and a powerful 8" subwoofer in a lightweight, metal-reinforced and thus
low-resonance polypropylene cabinet provide a balanced sound experience without phase
cancellation. Driven by a powerful 1,200-watt power amplifier, there is more than enough power
for a whole host of situations, from lectures to party sound systems.

The POLAR 8 Column
In the POLAR 8 column element, six powerful
2.5" neodymium speakers with 1" voice coils work
in a curved column arrangement. With disper-
sion angles of 120° x 45°, they provide clean and
uniform sound, even in dicult or low rooms.
POLAR 8 can be set up without the spacer for
even more fl exible positioning options, e.g. on
high stages.
The POLAR 8 Subwoofer
Thanks to a special metal reinforcement (“anti-resonance
bracing”), the low-resonance enclosure ensures
dry and precise bass reproduction. The POLAR 8
subwoofer is extremely compact, optimised for
smaller floor areas and easy to transport.

for positioning on stage or in the room. In many cases, there’s no need for
another stage monitor at all.
POLAR 8 can be set up without the lower column segment, making it easy to
adjust the height from which sound is emitted, for example when used on a
raised stage.
The gradually tapering volume ensures sound pressure that packs a punch
on the dance fl oor, a pleasantly full sound in the front rows and a conversa-
tion-friendly reduced volume at the back of the room.

tion-friendly reduced volume at the back of the room.
POLAR 8 boasts wide dispersion and homogeneous volume distribution and is less prone
to feedback, making it easy to position.
When positioned on the floor, POLAR 8’s subwoofer, spacer and mid/high unit combine
to create the ideal vertical orientation for both standing and seated audiences. When set
up on a stage, it can be positioned at the ideal height without the need for the spacer

The built-in three-channel mixer with state-of-the-art Blue-
tooth 5 audio streaming and Bluetooth TWS provides enough
connections for a wide range of application scenarios. Two
channels are equipped with XLR/jack combo sockets and can
be used with microphones just as easily as with keyboards,
guitar preamps or mixing consoles, without the need for an
adapter. The AUX channel features RCA sockets, making it
ideal for connecting DJ mixers or MP3 players. This channel
also controls Bluetooth streaming. Connecting to a Blue-
tooth-enabled device, such as a smartphone, tablet or laptop,
is as simple as pressing a button. With Bluetooth TWS, two
POLAR 8s can be combined to form a true stereo system. The
audio stream’s two stereo channels are each transmitted to
one of the POLAR 8.
THREE-CHANNEL MIXER
The volume controls for the three channels, the master volume
and the subwoofer are directly accessible in all operating
situations. To ensure an optimal system sound across all appli-
cations, the treble and bass levels can be easily adjusted with
dedicated controllers. The plug-in system specially developed
for the POLAR series connects the three components conven-
iently, securely and without wobbling.

The column element of the compact POLAR 8 features powerful 2.5″ neodymium speakers with a 1″ voice coil in a curved column arrangement. Together with the high-performance bass speaker in a metal-reinforced, low-resonance plastic enclosure and the 1,200 watt (peak power) Class-D power amplifier, the system offers powerful, uniform sound and superior power reserves.

The 24-bit DSP in POLAR 10 and POLAR 12 delivers a homogeneous and low-distortion sound experience across all frequency ranges. The combination of a 1″ CD horn, high-performance midrange drivers and a specially developed long-throw bass speaker in an acoustically perfectly dimensioned wooden cabinet is driven by a generous 2,000 watts of power amp output.

MULTICHANNEL MIXER

The built-in multichannel mixer provides plenty of connections for a range of application scenarios: two channels for microphone or line signals and an Aux channel for pre-recorded music. POLAR 10 and 12 also have a special instrument channel (e.g. for an acoustic guitar).

All POLAR models receive audio streams wirelessly, with Bluetooth 5 providing greater range and a more reliable connection compared to previous Bluetooth versions. POLAR 8 also offers Bluetooth TWS (True Wireless Stereo), which allows two POLAR 8s to be operated as a true wireless stereo streaming system from a TWS-enabled smartphone.

POLAR 8 is extremely easy to use. The overall volume can be adjusted with an easily accessible Master volume control, while the Sub Level and Treble controls allow the overall sound to be adjusted to local conditions or personal taste.
