For several years now, the Michael Kelly team has been working on a fresh new approach to acoustic guitars. This has culminated with the development of the new Port Technology. At the core of this innovation is an offset soundhole approach coupled with an all new bracing design. Forte Port The Forte Port features Michael Kelly's Port Technology. This fresh new approach to top bracing and soundhole placement results in a noticeable improvement in sonic performance. It is dynamic, responsive and has a big bold sound. The Forte Port features an aggressive cutaway giving you more fingerboard access and great balance. The Forte Port is equipped with an active Fishman electronics system. The under saddle bridge pickup captures the full and natural sound of the Forte. You can control the volume and adjust the tone with two onboard controls, located in the soundhole. Discrete, but very easy to use and all without any holes cut into the side of the instrument.
